WordPress What is WordPress auto-update?

WordPress auto-update is a feature that is enabled from the beginning if not specifically configured, and automatically applies patches (programs that plug vulnerabilities) when vulnerabilities are found in the WordPress program itself.

1 Server capacity limitation

You are unable to download the update file due to the capacity limitation of your server. Deleting backup files or otherwise increasing the free space on your server will solve the problem.

2 Write permissions on files and folders

Some or all of the files or folders in WordPress are set as non-writable and cannot be adapted for updates.
